To find more info about it click here.

It is recommended  to visit the Sky park if you visiting Singapore, spectacular view. Maybe we should consider to stay at the hotel next time. Nice swimming pool they have. For those who only buy a ticket to see the Sky Park, Swimming pool is only for hotel's guest. We can only take a photo, ooo..ya "NO" tripod allowed at the Sky Park. There is a sign but some of the tourist just doesn't care about it. Ticket sell for SG$10/person, if I am not mistaken.(I'm having short memory syndrome). I should write about this post a few days after we were back from Singapore. Now its too late. :(.

Well..at least I share some photos right?

Universal Studio, Singapore

Saturday 16th April morning, the sun is shinning and the sky is clear. Yes, good for us, our plan is to go to Resort World Sentosa-Universal Studio. What do you expect from Universal Studio. Its weekend and of course the park will be so busy. Just what we are thinking off, exactly the same.

You can check details for the opening hours & ticket price here

Actually we met a lady who selling the ticket for SG$60/person, so instead of SG$144, we got it for SG$120 we saved SG$24. What can you see inside the park?. There are a few attractions inside there. All I can tell is, there are so many roller coaster. 5 attraction was listed in their map which are Hollywood & New York Street,  Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far far Away Kingdom & Madagascar.
Here are a few photos for sharing.

After relief from the hot, we start to walked around again. To the sentosa park and took the jewel Cable car  to the other side of RWS and took a taxi back to the hotel for Siesta.

The weather was so hot we could not stand. We just hope it will continue that way, because we need to go to the Marina Sky Park afterward. But 1st rest.

Singapore 2011 (Arrival Day)

Staying at Shangri-La Hotel at the Horizon Club. Beautiful hotel and comfortable, friendly staff and easy access to Orchard Road shopping area. My husband kinda like business club as they have this extra benefits. Full use of the Horizon Club Lounge, Private check-in and check-out at the Horizon Club Lounge and complimentary evening cocktails from 6pm-8pm, eat and drink for free and of course the highest floor room is the best, because the view is always amazing as usual. Food was also delicious, was worth it staying there.

"The line" restaurant, breakfast was really great. So many selection, from Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Western even Malaysian food. Talking about hotel, of course you want to know whether they have swimming pool or not. Luckily we did not bring our children together, otherwise we will stay at the pool all the time. They just can't get enough of swimming. I think the pool was a bit small for that kind of hotel. or maybe because of the construction work they are doing near the pool, that why its look small. But overall, I can say, recommended hotel if the price is within your budget.

1st day was just too late to think what to do and where to go. It was 17:20 when we landed at Changi Airport on Friday. We arrived at the hotel around 18:20. It was a peak hour for Singapore, traffic jam everywhere. So another lucky day for us that we don't have to wait for our luggage as we doesn't have one. We only brought 1 hand luggage. Huh! we are just on time  to enjoy the complimentary evening cocktails. Great but it was a bit weird for me, ha..ha..ha, why? because I am the only one who wore jeans and shirt, the rest all with smart attire and beautiful dress. another Huh! (Sweating). One thing you have to remember..its a business lounge, you have to wear smart casual attire ya..oppss..no slipper or sandal please..mmm..whatever.. I just ignore them and enjoy my food.

The time is 19:45, now, what should we do, night is still young, The non stop talking taxi driver had mentioned about Holland Road. He said, there is one bar called wala wala, nice bar. mmm..don't bother about it, we don't drink beer anyway. I know its a bit weird when people look at my husband, they will think "he might like to drink beer". Well, the only think in his mind is the CC (CocaCola), never drink beer.

So, we just took a taxi and heading to Holland Road. There are a few small stall selling clothing, hand bag and sandal still open but at the Holland Village mall, all the shop owners are getting ready to go home. Shop close. We just walked around, the long street of Holland Road is full with restaurants and bars. We saw the Wala Wala bar..at least we went there and we saw it. A lot of people, busy street, everybody looking for a food and hang out with their friends. Its a hang out place i think. Young couple, old couple everyone is having their happy hour. What remind me the most, looking at my left, my right, my back and in front of me, everybody with their iPhone..wow. One thing me and my husband really don't understand, a couple sitting next to us, having dinner together, what they are doing? playing with their i phone. Phone is more important than the person in front of them. Is this what they are look like when you lives in the develop country. Maybe! Open your mind and think again.

We picked one of the restaurant and have our dinner. My husband ordered beef Steak and fish finger for me. My husband drink CC, mine is BC milkshake (Banana Chocolate) ..yummy.

Look who is happy having his beef steak. Lekker!
Breko Restaurant
My Fish Finger..so many, I can't finish it.

After enjoying our foods (mine was still got 2 slices) back to the hotel at 21:30, enjoying the wonderful city view at night. Plan for next day.. Resort World Sentosa, Universal Studio.

I am gonna stop here, till I got my typing mood then I'll continue.
Have a nice day, hope you enjoy reading, if not please don't read my next post.

Singapore-Bintan Short Trip

Tickets was bought on February during the Air Asia '0' fare promotions. We choose Singapore. We doesn't know what to do at Singapore. Introduced by one of our B&B guest, that we should go to Bintan Island, tranquil and relaxing place. Friday the 13th, We landed at the Changi Airport around 5:30pm and took the MRT to Bugis Station from Tanah Merah. We are a bit rush to catched the time. Thinking of doing the Night Safari of Singapore after wards. The weather was not so good. It was Raining

MRT map

When we reached Bugis Station, We tried to find a taxi stand. The shopping mall was so crowded and we were thinking maybe we should asked around. First we asked this young teenage Chinese girl, Where is the taxi stand? she answered, arrrrr..she pointed to one direction. We go straight to the place where she just pointed. We saw people are just crossing the road and we did not saw any taxi but just a bus stop. We just follow them to crossed the road, maybe the taxi stand is there. When we get to the other side of the road, we did not see any taxi. Then we asked an middle age man who was standing and waiting for the bus. He told us, you have to go to the other side of the road look for North bridge taxi stand, HUH!..finally we get direction. Then once again we have to crossed the road to where we came from. We just looking around and look for the sign of North Bridge sign . We found it, a long que where people standing and waiting for a taxi. Relief..This will happen if you travel you own. But it was a good experience tho. We get into the taxi and straight to our hotel, Oxford Hotel. Its a small hotel but clean and comfortable.

After we checked in, we directly continue our journey to the Night Safari. It was very nice and good experience for me and the children.. hahahaha..watching wild animal at night with the tram. But a bit disappointed because the animal show was canceled due to the weather condition. It was a bit raining that night. We could not took a lot of photos since it was warned to switch off our camera while watching the animals. So just a few photos taken for that night. Overall, we like the Night Safari experience. We had our dinner at Ulu-ulu restaurant and took a taxi to Orchard road. We heard that Orchard road have their beautiful street lights and decorations for Christmas that why we just want to look at it. Its also an area where you can called heaven for shoppers. So many shopping complexs . Hmmm..Our children was so tired and fell as sleep.

Take a photo with the Night Safari eyes.

Next day after breakfast at the hotel, we took a taxi to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to get our ticket 1 hour before the ferry departure time to Bintan Island. Bintan is one of the Riau Islands of Indonesia, has tropical forest and beautiful white beaches, 45 Minutes with ferry from Singapore. Staying at Nirwana Beach Club, one of the resorts of Bintan Resort. At Bintan we just enjoying the scenery, swimming and fill in our tummy with foods. We were lucky, cause the 2nd day at Bintan was sunny day. Only at night was a bit drizzling.
