It is recommended  to visit the Sky park if you visiting Singapore, spectacular view. Maybe we should consider to stay at the hotel next time. Nice swimming pool they have.For those who only buy a ticket to see the Sky Park, Swimming pool is only for hotel's guest. We can only take a photo, ooo..ya "NO" tripod allowed at the Sky Park. There is a sign but some of the tourist just doesn't care about it. Ticket sell for SG$10/person, if I am not mistaken.(I'm having short memory syndrome). I should write about this post a few days after we were back from Singapore. Now its too late. :(.

Singapore 2011 (Arrival Day)

Staying at Shangri-La Hotel at the Horizon Club. Beautiful hotel and comfortable, friendly staff and easy access to Orchard Road shopping area. My husband kinda like business club as they have this extra benefits. Full use of the Horizon Club Lounge, Private check-in and check-out at the Horizon Club Lounge and complimentary evening cocktails from 6pm-8pm, eat and drink for free and of course the highest floor room is the best, because the view is always amazing as usual. Food was also delicious, was worth it staying there.

"The line" restaurant, breakfast was really great. So many selection, from Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Western even Malaysian food. Talking about hotel, of course you want to know whether they have swimming pool or not. Luckily we did not bring our children together, otherwise we will stay at the pool all the time. They just can't get enough of swimming. I think the pool was a bit small for that kind of hotel. or maybe because of the construction work they are doing near the pool, that why its look small. But overall, I can say, recommended hotel if the price is within your budget.

1st day was just too late to think what to do and where to go. It was 17:20 when we landed at Changi Airport on Friday. We arrived at the hotel around 18:20. It was a peak hour for Singapore, traffic jam everywhere. So another lucky day for us that we don't have to wait for our luggage as we doesn't have one. We only brought 1 hand luggage. Huh! we are just on time  to enjoy the complimentary evening cocktails. Great but it was a bit weird for me, ha..ha..ha, why? because I am the only one who wore jeans and shirt, the rest all with smart attire and beautiful dress. another Huh! (Sweating). One thing you have to remember..its a business lounge, you have to wear smart casual attire ya..oppss..no slipper or sandal please..mmm..whatever.. I just ignore them and enjoy my food.

The time is 19:45, now, what should we do, night is still young, The non stop talking taxi driver had mentioned about Holland Road. He said, there is one bar called wala wala, nice bar. mmm..don't bother about it, we don't drink beer anyway. I know its a bit weird when people look at my husband, they will think "he might like to drink beer". Well, the only think in his mind is the CC (CocaCola), never drink beer.

So, we just took a taxi and heading to Holland Road. There are a few small stall selling clothing, hand bag and sandal still open but at the Holland Village mall, all the shop owners are getting ready to go home. Shop close. We just walked around, the long street of Holland Road is full with restaurants and bars. We saw the Wala Wala bar..at least we went there and we saw it. A lot of people, busy street, everybody looking for a food and hang out with their friends. Its a hang out place i think. Young couple, old couple everyone is having their happy hour. What remind me the most, looking at my left, my right, my back and in front of me, everybody with their iPhone..wow. One thing me and my husband really don't understand, a couple sitting next to us, having dinner together, what they are doing? playing with their i phone. Phone is more important than the person in front of them. Is this what they are look like when you lives in the develop country. Maybe! Open your mind and think again.

We picked one of the restaurant and have our dinner. My husband ordered beef Steak and fish finger for me. My husband drink CC, mine is BC milkshake (Banana Chocolate) ..yummy.

After enjoying our foods (mine was still got 2 slices) back to the hotel at 21:30, enjoying the wonderful city view at night. Plan for next day.. Resort World Sentosa, Universal Studio.

I am gonna stop here, till I got my typing mood then I'll continue.

Last Weekend activity

As usual, when my Mother in law staying at the hotel, we always invited to join them swimming.
Last weekend we went to the Le Meridian Hotel for swimming. The swimming pool was nice and not so many people swimming when we were there. At first the water was a bit cold when you jump into it, but me and Hakim doesn't care about the cold. We just enjoy it. Aishah, she is a bit scared of the cold water, but in the afternoon she started to play in the pool with Hakim.

This weekend our target is Pacific Sutera

Checked out

On 4th days of our vacation, we checked out from Disney's Hollywood Hotel at 11:00am.
We managed to buy a toys for Hakim and Aishah at the shop inside the hotel.
Maybe we will come back here again or Maybe Not..it was wonderful and nice hotel. We enjoyed staying there for 3 nights and 3 days.

We need to get to the train to Mongkok and find our next stop for staying, Langham Place Hotel. With 2 luggages, 1 big and 1 small. That how if you are travelling your own. All the way from Disneyland Resort to Mongkok with MTR. As you can see from map (below) from pink lane to yellow lane, interchange to the red lane to Mongkok. There are 8 stations we need to stop. We were early when we get to the hotel, it was just 12:15pm. Quick hah?




Is not easy to get seat inside the MTR by the way, we have to stand till we get a free seat. I was lucky when Aishah was sleeping and I was carrying her, one kind lady offer me her seat.
Since the goverment of Hong Kong provided so many sign board, you can easily find the place where you want to go. When you step out from the MTR station at Mongkok, you just look at the sign board and follow the right exit door. Our hotel was just above the MTR station and it was a big shopping mall, can you imagine we have to take the escalator all the way up to the hotel lobby. It was so busy. For those who like shooping, here is the heaven of shopping. Unfortunately for me, with 2 kids and my lovely husband, I don't think I can go for shopping. hehehe..Continue the story, we checked in and the whole afternoon we slept. We supposed to wake up at 4:00pm and visting the gold fish market, but it was cancel due to my 2 kids tired and still sleeping. We woke up at 5:00pm and went down to the Mongkok street just to explore. Busy street.

Let start with the 1st day

We are safely back to Kota Kinabalu yesterday. Departed from Macau international Airport at 01:10pm and arrived at Kota Kinabalu Terminal 2 around 04:00pm. We have passed the infrared scan from the Ministry of health. So no worries.

So here are our 1st day of our journey to Hong Kong.

13th May 2009 (Wednesday)

07:10am Departed from Kota Kinabalu to Macau with AirAsia. Reached Macau around 10:00am and directly took a taxi to Macau Ferry Terminal. We managed to get the 10:45am Turbojet ferry to Hong Kong and reached Hong Kong ferry terminal around 12:00pm. Travelling to Hong Kong this time is more relax than the first time. Because we don't have to search for the MTR station. Now we knew where is it located and just find Tsuen Wan station-Lai King interchange to Tung Chung Station-Sunny Bay interchange to the Disneyland resort lane. At least we have our lunch at McD before we proceed our journey to Disneyland. Around 2:00pm reached Hong Kong Disneyland.



Inside the plane, they have plenty of empty seats. You can even choose your own spaces to lay down.


Aishah excited when we arrived at HK Disneyland. So she want me to took a photo of her.




While papa doing the check-in, Hakim and Aishah watching TV and they are a bit tired that time.

Finally we get our room

Same as last year but this time we are at the 9th floor.

After a few hours of resting, we decided to go for swimming at the pool. We just on time having fun at the swimming pool with Goofy. I did not took a photo of us with Goofy since last year we already did it. Besides mama want to enjoy swimming too. heheh..After we have enough at the pool, we decided to walked at the garden, just want to check whether any changes or not. Well, no changes.

After walking, we heard that pluto is coming at the main lobby, then we change our direction to the main lobby, while waiting for pluto, Hakim & aishah spent their times at Malibu Toy Shop for playing "masak-masak"

Last activity for that day was

Having our dinner, chicken curry with rice & spaghetti bolognaise for my husband.

That was our day.
