The Peak

The 5th days of our holiday, experience the 45 degree peak tram is our plan while visiting one of the attraction places in Hong Victoria Peak, the highest point in Hong Kong.

Other attraction inside the peak tower is "Madame Tussauds" but we did not go in. The ticket was too expensive. After the peak, we went back to the hotel and take a rest. At night we went to the Temple street night Market. Bought a few t-shirts for my brothers and sisters. This will be our last night at Mongkok. The next day we are back to Macau and experience the luxurious Venetian.

Checked out

On 4th days of our vacation, we checked out from Disney's Hollywood Hotel at 11:00am.
We managed to buy a toys for Hakim and Aishah at the shop inside the hotel.
Maybe we will come back here again or Maybe Not..it was wonderful and nice hotel. We enjoyed staying there for 3 nights and 3 days.

We need to get to the train to Mongkok and find our next stop for staying, Langham Place Hotel. With 2 luggages, 1 big and 1 small. That how if you are travelling your own. All the way from Disneyland Resort to Mongkok with MTR. As you can see from map (below) from pink lane to yellow lane, interchange to the red lane to Mongkok. There are 8 stations we need to stop. We were early when we get to the hotel, it was just 12:15pm. Quick hah?




Is not easy to get seat inside the MTR by the way, we have to stand till we get a free seat. I was lucky when Aishah was sleeping and I was carrying her, one kind lady offer me her seat.
Since the goverment of Hong Kong provided so many sign board, you can easily find the place where you want to go. When you step out from the MTR station at Mongkok, you just look at the sign board and follow the right exit door. Our hotel was just above the MTR station and it was a big shopping mall, can you imagine we have to take the escalator all the way up to the hotel lobby. It was so busy. For those who like shooping, here is the heaven of shopping. Unfortunately for me, with 2 kids and my lovely husband, I don't think I can go for shopping. hehehe..Continue the story, we checked in and the whole afternoon we slept. We supposed to wake up at 4:00pm and visting the gold fish market, but it was cancel due to my 2 kids tired and still sleeping. We woke up at 5:00pm and went down to the Mongkok street just to explore. Busy street.

Long day on 3rd days

15th May 2009 (Friday)

Woke up early as we need to go to "Disneyland hotel" for a breakfast with Mickey at Enchanted Garden, they called it. Our children do not knew about it actually, so when we were sitting there suddenly, Mickey mouse, Goofy and Pluto comes. Hakim and Aishah was looking and smiling. Hakim asked me, "mama is goofy cooking?" when he saw Goofy and Pluto with their chef dresses . Then I replied, yes..of course, he is the one who prepared our breakfast for today.. and then he smiled and look at Goofy again. "can we bring Goofy home to accompany sonj(y)a (our dog at home)" he asked again, then my husband said, "why don't you asked him?"..mmm...said Hakim, no need la..with his shy and smiling face..hahahaha..they really think the maskot is real.

After the Breakfast, our next destination was Nyong Ping 360. Located at Lantau Island, not far from HK Disneyland just take a few minutes MTR to the Tung Chung station, there you'll find the entrance to the Cable car Station. Its open at 10:00am by the way. we arrived early, so we have to wait another 20 minutes. You can also visit the Poh Li Monastery anf Giant Buddha. They have a packages that you can choose.

We were there till 2:00pm in the afternoon, and then back to our Hotel. Our park's ticket still valid and we went back to the park at 4:30pm. Playing and enjoying a few attractions spot while waiting for the fire work. Having our dinner at the park and watched the spectacular fire work show at 8:00pm. I did have a video of the fire work show but its takes too long to upload it. Sorry
We were so tired on that day.

2nd days was just fun

14th May 2009 (Thursday)

2nd day of our holiday is Theme Park day. Today we went to the Disneyland park just enjoying our favorite spots. Since we did not visited a few places at the park, we decided to explore it especially the "Festival of the Lion King".The show was so wonderful and amazing, worth to watched it if you go to Hong Kong Disneyland even though the "Golden Mickey" was closed that time. We were at the park around 10:00am till 04:00pm. I think that long enough for our kids. Besides our entrance ticket still valid for another 1 day, will continue to explore it on our 3rd day. They were so tired and slept on the way back to the hotel.
