Langkayan Island

Finally our holiday come to the end.

The last place we visited was the Langkayan Island. One and a half hour boat ride from Sandakan. Another boat adventure. It happen that after 30 minutes we were on the boat suddenly one of the boat's engines was not functioning properly and the boatman have to call his boss and explained about the problem. We have to go back a few kilometers while waiting for the other boat to come and yes our time was a bit delayed. But luckily it is happen not far from the city.

Well, talking about Langkayan Island, it is a beautiful place and quite place to go. I am a bit blank right now and I don't have any idea what should I write about this place but for sure, there are a few activities you can do here, in this island such as diving, snorkeling, discover Scuba Diving, kayaking, watching turtle nesting and releasing baby turtles to the sea at night. The food was delicious and their staff were friendly too. 

I think i am not going to write everything about it anymore, just let the photos explain how was Langkayan.

Abai Jungle Lodge & Sukau, Kinabatangan

After a few days of jungle experience,we were heading back to Sandakan for another river wildlife experience.

Out from Danum Valley at 4:00pm and with taxi to Sandakan for another 2 hours drive. Arrived at Sabah Hotel, Sandakan around 6:30pm and rest for a night.

The next day on 23rd Nov we have to woke up early as our pick up time is at 8:10am.

Itenary for that day and photos for sharing:

9:30am - 11:00am : Visiting The Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre

11:00am- Departed from Sepilok Orang Utan Centre and continue our tour to Sim-Sim Jetty for our boat to Abai, Kinabatangan.

We saw so many birds and probosic monkey. We even spotted a few Crocodile eyes in the river when the sky is getting dark. The Fire flies showed was really amazing at night.

Back to the lodge, after dinner another activity, Night walked to see insects or other wildlife sleeping.

Early in the morning of our next day, got another river cruise.

Afternoon activity: Tree Planting at Kg.Abai and having our lunch with the villagers

Finished with our lunch, back to our lodge and continue our boat ride to Sukau Kinabatangan for another 1 hours. It was heavy rain and I could not took more photo.
Here are a few photos from Sukau. We arrived at Sukau at 3:30pm and the river cruise started at 4:30pm but it was drizzling. well I have to keep my camera inside plastic to makesure it is safe from the rain.

   Departed from Sukau at 7:30am, Stop by at Abai Jungle lodge a a tea break and continue the boat ride to Sandakan. At Sandakan we stayed at Sabah Hotel for another night.

Arrived at the hotel, Hakim & Aishah could not wait any longer, they jump into the swimming pool, as well as their papa.

Well that was our experience for 3 days and 2 night jungle tour.
I'll stop here, because my eyes are so sleepy and tired.
