Next Family Destination ..

Today is my last day of working for January. I will start my leave from 28 Jan-1 Feb to visit Brunei. Since my husband want to see how is the market in Brunei, he would like to check it for himself. Just see how is the Package he offered at his website

We will go by land to Brunei with my mother in law and her husband. Its a long drive from Kota Kinabalu to Brunei but I hope for my children they enjoy it. Me and my husband have tried once to Miri by land sometimes in 2001. Ya! its been 7 years and hopefully the road is much better then before. The most exciting part is we will staying at The Empire Hotel & Country Club, which I heard from my husband an extravagant suites and 5 star rooms, how was that look like huh!. Just wait and see, I hope I can take a photo of the hotel and the room and share it in my blog.

After my holiday, I will continue with my Medical Leave from 4th Feb to whenever the Doctor give me. Probably a week. So its a long leave for me. That make me lazy to go to work afterwards. Oh ya. I will be admitted to Hospital Likas on 3rd February 2008 (Sunday) my operation has been re-schedule on 4th February. Nothing serious just hope it will be gone after this. Is that simple as it is?.. I dont know.

I can't really tell what I am going to do with the money, since its still early for me to explain. Well just try this first and see whether I really can get paid or not. But let say it really working and I get pay, I'll treat my friends and family at my favorite restaurant and just order what you want. Beside, if I get pay to much, I will make some donation to those who really need it.

A Whole Life Lie

I get this story from my friend and i find it interesting story.. Read on then you know

He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me go home.... suddenly he asked the waiter. "Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."

Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously; why you have this hobby? He replied: "When I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I like playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there". While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.

That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home. Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story.

They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee!

Then the story was just like every beautiful love story, the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life... And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee, as she knew that's the way he liked it.

After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: "My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt. It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead. I never thought that could be the start of our communication
I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything.

Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste… But I have had the salty coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again".

Her tears made the letter totally wet. Someday, someone asked her: what's the taste of salty coffee? She replied, “It's sweet.”

Love is not to forget but to forgive, not to see but to understand, not to
hear but to listen, not to let go but to HOLD ON !!!!

Don't ever leave the one you love for the one you like, because the one you like will leave you for the one they love.

Find a guy, who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends. Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you. Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "…..that's her."

Company 11th years Anniversary Dinner

Last Friday (18th January 2008) our Company had celebrate the 11 years Anniversary at Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort. The Dress code was baju kebangsaan or dark lounge suit. Finally..after 2 weeks busy of doing all the things for this dinner.

Celebrating..

After back from our dinner at Little Italy last night, then we do the cake cutting for tea time. During that time, Hakim is so busy doing his job of be a camera boy.

So when its time mama blow the birthday candles, he did not took a picture of me, he is busy looking at mama...so no photo..hahahahaa

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Today is my 30th birthday.. getting older and older. Everyone is wishing me Happy Birthday!
The first one who wish me Happy Birthday is my Husband of course.. At 12am we are still watching TV, and then Opa Harry and then my cousin, Iza. This morning receive a lot of sms from my brother and sisters and my 'satu kepala' friend Jura.

The first group who sing me a birthday song at our office pantry are Jen, Ulai, Marissa and Farah..Thanks a lot for remembering my birthday, appreciate it so much.

Tonight my husband and my mother in law will treat me for dinner, I don't have to cook. So as usual me and my husband favorite restaurant "Little Italy".

Thanks again to all my family and friends for remembering my birthday.

Knitting

I've been learning how to knit since July 2006. Well it was started when I saw one of my best friend Jura learned how to knit. So I was thinking why not just try..so I started with the basic of knitting which are cast on, knit, purl and cast off. Most of the techniques we learn from the Internet.

After that I went to the yarn shop to get some yarn and buy my first knitting needle size 6mm. So I started to make my first project which was pullover sweater for my boy. I made it and it was satisfying and enjoyable. Well , I know we are living at Asian country which mean most probably warm, but I have a reason to knit for the first place when I started to think of knitting. We have planned to visit my husband's family at The Netherlands so I have to make a warm cloth to both my boy and girl. I finished the first project within 2 weeks time. Its a very simple pattern for beginners.

After I finished with my 1st project, then I started to buy a book about knitting. (once you learn it, you will be addicted). So from that book I saw one pattern that I really want to try which combined 2 colors of yarns. So I tried, It was a cardigan with a hat. Since I only have short time to finished it I did not make the hat and I just knitted the Cardigan. I managed to finished it a few days before we went. Well actually its take almost a month to finished the cardigan.

After a few months I did not do anything, suddenly my mood back again, looking for pattern to knit and here is my third project of knitting sweater, a cute Hoodie for Ethan.

Hope I can learn more technique in knitting and I am thinking of another knitting project for this year.
The more you practice, the more you get experience and learn something new. Watch out for my next project..

Busy

Starting From 1st January 2008, I've been busy of doing and finishing our Invitation for Company 11th Years Anniversary this coming Friday (18th). Since then I have no time to update my blog. This time I try to steal my 10 minutes time after lunch to write something in my blog. Just want to tell you that I am still alive and kicking..hahahahahaaa..

My mother in law will arrive tomorrow at 11.30am, I still waiting for my new appointment to be admitted to Hospital Likas (again). My previous appointment was cancelled due to uncertain circumstances problem from the Specialist. End of January, my husband had planned to go to Brunei by land (with car of course) together with my mother in law. There are a lots of things I've to finished before we go for short holiday. Well, I hope I can finished it before I go. By the way, my 10 minutes is finish and I have to stop now. Write more next time...
