Earth Hour 2011

Light off from 8:30PM-9:30PM on Saturday 26th March 2011

3D 2N Mantanani Island

Mantanani is a group of 3 isolated islands northwest of Kota Belud, Sabah, Borneo. About an hour's drive from the state capital of Kota Kinabalu. Although only approximately an hour's boat ride by speedboat from the mainland, the islands are a reminder of an earlier and simpler place and time. Time slows down here amidst the crystal clear blue waters lapping on white sandy beaches.
Visited Mantanani Island a few weeks ago with family. We have a great day and enjoy it so much even though we got a bit tan  skin from the sun burn. Luckily not bad. My kids were really enjoying swimming in the sea and playing with the sand, collecting shells is also one of their favorite. We were staying at Mari Mari backpacker lodge.

Just wanna share a few photos of our time at Mantanani Island.
